This policy explains what information The Balcony Company Inc. (“Dec-Iron”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use dec-iron.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• What you type in: your name, company, email, phone number, project name, project address and estimated date of purchase, when you register at the cart, pull a quote or check out.
• What you choose: the stair you configure, and the Shipping options, Measurements and Permitting acknowledgements you sign with your name and date.
• Order details: what you buy, the delivery address, and the payment status. Card details go directly to Stripe (see Payments).
• Basic technical data: such as your browser type and the pages you visit, kept by our hosting provider in its normal server logs.

3. How we use it

• To prepare your quotes and process your orders.
• To make your shop drawings and arrange shipping.
• To call, text or email you about your project, your quote and your order.
• To keep the business, tax and warranty records the law and our warranty require.

4. Calls and texts

We call or text you only with the consent you give at registration, and only about your project, quote and order. You can opt out at any time: reply STOP to a text, or tell us by phone or email. Message and data rates may apply.

5. Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to complete your order, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe, to take your payment.
• FedEx Freight, to deliver your stair (name, phone and delivery address).
• Our email provider and our website host, to send your quotes, invoices and documents and to run the site.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute about an order.

6. Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe on its secure payment page. Dec-Iron never sees or stores your card number.

7. How long we keep it

For as long as needed for your quotes and orders, and for the warranty, tax and legal records we must keep.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing sales@deciron.com or calling 704-750-0444. We keep only what we must by law or for an open order or warranty.

9. Cookies and browser storage

The site keeps your cart, your stair choices, your signatures and your registration in your own browser so you do not lose them while you shop. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The admin area uses a login cookie for Dec-Iron staff only.

10. Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to customer records is limited to Dec-Iron staff.

11. Children

The site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes

If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new “last updated” date.
